International consulting firm acquires Go Geothermal.ca

Go Geothermal.ca and its intellectual property were purchased by international consulting and marketing company Go Geo Global LLC of Nevis, West Indies.

BCIT Announces Course Dates for CESA 8224 and 8225

CESA 8224 is an introduction to geothermal energy exchange and thermal energy storage systems for students who wish to become familiar with industry-standard commercial design processes. Open to those with backgrounds in science or engineering who have completed coursework in thermodynamics and fluid physics. Upon completion, students will be able to identify the critical design parameters and choices involved in a variety of geothermal energy systems. CESA 8225 provides more indepth study. 2 credits each.

New EE4 version 1.7

Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency has issued EE4, software that automates energy use assessment, including air source and water source heat pumps, and applies all the specific NRCan validation of new building designs rules to verify that a design is at least 25% more energy efficient than if constructed to meet the Model National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (MNECB) requirements.
